Criminal Law
In criminal law, the impact of neuroscientific progress in forensic psychiatry plays a critical role in relationship between psychopathology and neuropathology and its relevance to the law. Dr. Nair will take multiple approaches regarding the usage of face-to-face evaluation time, discovery (i.e. medical records, sub rosa footage, etc.), and the facilitation of the integration of neuroscientific knowledge in forensic neuropsychiatric practice as it relates to the case; while simultaneously integrating knowledge from his other subspecialties and experience to develop a comprehensive report, give consultation advice, or testify in court.
